Jewelry Designer Andrew StoffelEver take a close look into the ever changing artwork put on currency throughout the world? Featured jewelry designer Andrew Stoffel most definitely has.

Andy is a student of Pastoral Studies in Northern California. He has worked with youth and young adults for several years now and has a passion to see them grow as individuals with strong character.

Andy has used his love and talent for music and art to work with and inspire young people. His ultimate goal is to complete school and open a youth center that concentrates on music and the arts. His continuing education will include teaching credentials and a master’s degree in counseling psychology or business administration (with an emphasis on non-profit organizations).

Andy has been making jewelry for friends and family for many years now and has learned how to make much of what he does by trial and error. There is never a problem that doesn’t have a solution and many times the journey leads to many other inspiring ideas. A few years ago Andy’s father began to talk about making double sided silver coin rings using old silver coins.

The conversations turned into experimentation and then to production. The work that you see today is from knowledge that was built with every stroke of a hammer. Many beautiful pieces come out of the studio every day and are being worn and proudly displayed worldwide.

With the support of his father he has become a true Ring Master that has become a pioneer, breaking new ground in the way coin rings are made; producing work that is truly unique coin art. Andy’s attention to detail is second to none and as each piece that is formed is brought to life with skill and a love for the craft. His future plans include other forms of jewelry and even a couple of surprises. Stay tuned to see what this artist comes up with.

1898 Barber Quarte Silver Coin Ring1898 Barber Quarte Silver Coin Ring
1898 Silver Barber Quarter double sided coin ring, size 6 1/2+. The Date, a row of stars and "In God We Trust" can be seen on the outside of the ring. "United States of America" and "Quarter Dollar" can be seen on the inside. We can adjust the size of this ring up or down slightly if it is not your exact size. *OTHER SIZES AVAILABLE* We use a special finish process on our coin rings. We darken the ring then polish just the raised features. With the dark background and polished features it gives the ring good contrast with more eye appeal. The ring is then coated to protect from tarnish with a product designed for this use. Here is a quote from the product website:

1902 Quarter Dollar Coin Ring

"Copper, brass and Silver jewelry is gorgeous but it is frustrating to keep polished and copper jewelry can make skin darken or discolor on some people. This product is a clear, protective coating that is tough enough to protect jewelry and is safe for wear against skin."
